So like I said in my pervious post, I will be doing some 2013 wedding recaps. This past year I was blessed to photograph 10 weddings. It's not a crazy number of weddings but for me that's a great number! (Five times more than 2012's weddings). Each wedding was completely unique too, from sunflowers to pinecones, vintage to modern. Some girls I went to school with too! Crazy how small the world really is. And how cute is the clutch? Tracey from Pink Polkadot Designs is too talented!
Erin & Steve
Oh how I love these guys, as their wedding will always have a special place in my heart. It was an incredibly emotional day for everyone there. It still pulls at my heart strings as I write this. Erin and her family have the biggest hearts and kindest smiles that someone could have ever need for, as not even an hour into me arriving at her parents house, I received the most terrible news. My best friend had passed away. I just broke down right there in their living room. Erin and her mother came over and just hugged me, gave me a few minutes to get collected, then talked with me. I really needed that. Jessica, my super second shooter / dearest friend was also there for me in the living room, and I'm eternally grateful for her support. So after I got out of shock, I knew that there is no excuse for terrible photos ever, so I kicked into high gear and for the first wedding of 2013, not too bad at all...
