No seriously, we were on a boat for Cassandra & Tyler's wedding reception. So let me fill you in, on a drizzly over cast September morning, the day had begun. Hair and makeup at the Final Touch Salon in Simcoe, and then getting the final touches at Cassandra's parents house.
I think I may need to add that Cassandra and I went to school together, are soon to be second/third cousins (or something like that) in a week and we both really didn't want it to rain on her wedding day.
It was really a honour to photograph another one of my elementary school friends & future family's wedding.
So after the rain poured down between locations (thank goodness for umbrellas) we finally got to the Old Windham United Church, where the ceremony was intimate and quick. Off to Port Dover for photos and then onto the Nomada Charters "Kayloe" for the reception. See? A boat!
