Wedding Fever!

Oh boy, just oh boy.

Some of you have been down this road before. Some are just coming up to it.
I'm talking about the last two weeks before your wedding.
I'm there. Barely, but I'm just 3 days shy of the two week mark. My brain feels like mush, I can't remember who I've called, who I have to make appointments with and what colour lipstick do I use? I'm a bit overwhelmed, just a wee bit, not too too much but to the point where I just want to be on the honeymoon already!
No no no, I want to get married to my best friend of all time, the guy who puts up with me, who loves me enough to shovel my vehicle's parking spot, to let me sleep in when he leaves for work and he just, he's my everything. I can't say enough great things about Jonathan, yes he has a name!

My dress is hanging in my closet, centre pieces are done, his suit we pick up on the weekend. Favours have "thank you" on them, RSVPs are all accounted for, music is done a work in progress. Decorations have all been DIY'd and there is more glitter and glue in my office than one really needs. Seriously, glitter is EVERYWHERE. Sapphire, our cat, is glittered, our socks, it's mayhem! {Note to everyone DIY-ing their decor, if you must use glitter or glittered items, get hazmat suits and shop vacs.}

Also, I'm working on a maternity session,( for the lovely Jodi xoxo), then it's my bachelorette, his bachelor party, nails,  hair and ...jazz hands, the wedding!

Also a shout out to my little brother who's birthday is today, the whopping 2-2! He's so old, hahah! Just kidding, cause if he's old, what on earth does that make me?

 Back to the wedding:

I'm really excited, promise. Just I feel like I'm everywhere right now.
What are you looking forward to for your wedding and what are you dreading?
Also, what did you fear, but it was really a no biggie?

Thoughts on a Thursday feature?

Would anyone like to see a, tips on getting the most out of your photographs feature for Thursdays?
With ideas on albums, artwork, gifting etc?

So for example I can showcase different albums that I can design for you, and quality differences between a Walmart album and a matte lay-flat album. It may not be a year long kind of feature, but it just may help you pick out some great pieces for many years to come!

I'm a huge believer in physical items, albums, prints and canvases. Having the digital files are fine and dandy, but remember the floppy disc? Yeah, imaging if the disc goes the way of the floppy? Or the USB becomes obsolete on future computers? Having the actual item is, well, a lot less prone to technological changes. You can always go over to your parents home or grandparents home and ask to see their wedding photo album, and those well worn pages are testament to the need for something real.

show off your love, get prints!

It may seem weird for some to have a big print of your wedding or engagement session hanging up in the living room, but you shouldn't feel weird at all about it. Be proud that you married someone you love so dear! Show it to the world, and always have that reminder of your special day...even if it is just a print in a frame by your nightstand.

Let me know what you think!
